Originally from Kingston, Jamaica I have lived in the Maryland area since 1992.  I am a proud alumni of University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) where I graduated with a undergraduate degree in psychology.  I then graduated in 2000 from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D).  The same skills that allowed me to be a successful clinician also allow me to be successful as a real estate agent.  I enjoy the investigative nature of matching a buyer or rent to their perfect home.  In addition, I am able to help my clients remain calm in the often stressful times surrounding a real estate transaction.

In addition to real estate, I serve on the board of the directors of the Angie M. Houtz Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Angie was my best friend who was killed in the September 11 attack on the Pentagon.  Following that tragic day, the fund was established to honor Angie's memory.  The scholarship is offered to students who are attending Maryland public colleges who have shown a commitment to community service and scholarship.  The fund is supported by tax deductible donations and by 2 annual fundraisers:  A family fun day in Waldorf in May & A golf tournament in Upper Marlboro in September.

In my personal life I am married to my high school sweetheart and I have two wonderful children.
